Group Citizenships

Group Citizenship Ceremonies are free to attend and you will be able to bring a maximum for 2 guests ( this includes babies and children) per adult applicant.

Please note that places fill up quickly.

To ensure you can attend a ceremony within required time period of 3 months, we recommend that you book your citizenship within the next 5 days.

On this booking site you will be asked:

• Your Home Office Reference Number provided by the Home Office
• Your Unique Reference number provided by Shropshire Registration Service
• The email address we sent your unique reference to.
• How many guests you will be bringing - we need to know this so we can offer you available dates with the right amount of spaces. You will need to provide the names of your guests at the beginning of the booking.
• If you wish to take the oath or affirmation of allegiance to the King and the pledge of loyalty to the United Kingdom and other questions relating to the ceremony.

Private Citizenships

If you can not find a suitable date or wish to have more than 2 guests with you, you may wish to book a private ceremony, please contact us at registrars@shropshire.gov.uk to discuss your requirements. Please note that there will be a fee charged for a Private Ceremony.
